Licensed Veterinary Technician - Your Next Opportunity Awaits!

Hilton Veterinary Care is looking for an enthusiastic Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our growing team! If you're passionate about patient care, enjoy working alongside supportive colleagues, and want to be part of a hospital that invests in its team, we'd love to hear from you.

At Hilton Veterinary Care, you'll have the opportunity to fully utilize your technical skills, work with advanced equipment, and gain hands-on experience in a wide variety of cases-including reproduction medicine. This is an excellent opportunity for an LVT who enjoys learning, staying busy, and being part of a collaborative, experienced team.

What We Offer:

Schedule:
• Typically a 4-day work week
• Saturday rotation
• Rotating Sunday on-call schedule (approximately once every few weeks)
• Rotating holiday coverage schedule

As a leading reproduction hospital and home to the International Canine Semen Bank, our team provides specialized reproductive services that sometimes occur outside of regular business hours. Technicians participate in a rotating Sunday on-call and holiday schedule to support breeding management, reproductive procedures, and patient care when timing matters most.

Unique Reproduction Services:
Hilton Veterinary Care is a well-established reproduction hospital offering:
• TCI and surgical insemination procedures
• C-sections
• Breeding evaluations for males and females
• Semen collection, evaluation, extension, and shipment preparation
• Fresh semen collection and processing
• Access to advanced reproductive medicine and techniques

A Typical Day:
You'll rotate through various technician stations throughout the week, including:
• Surgery
• Treatment
• Technician appointments
• Dentistry
• Pharmacy

This role allows technicians to fully utilize their skills and spend most of their day practicing medicine rather than working extensively in exam rooms with clients.

Monday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Thursday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Sunday: Closed

Your Impact as a Credentialed Veterinary Technician Note: The Credentialed Veterinary Technician title is used in various states based on state-specific licensing and credentialing requirements. Responsibilities may vary depending on the hospital and/or state and will be outlined by the state's Veterinary Practice Act and/or the responsible veterinarian, where applicable.
  • Utilize Your Full Skillset: You'll be a vital part of the medical team, providing comprehensive patient care, including administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and performing lab work.
  • Be a Leader and Mentor: You'll guide and support the medical team, ensuring an efficient workflow while mentoring others to help them grow their skills and careers.
  • Partner with Clients: You'll be a key point of contact for pet owners, educating them on treatments, reviewing medical records, and confidently answering their questions.
  • Contribute to a Positive Culture: You'll play an active role in training, providing feedback, and maintaining the high standards of our hospital environment.
What You'll Bring to the Team
  • Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
  • A current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
  • Proficiency in a range of technical skills, including nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
  • A calm and efficient approach, especially in fast-paced or stressful situations.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for working collaboratively.
  • One year of experience in the veterinary industry is preferred.
