We are looking a Licensed (TX) Professional Engineer (Civil, Structural, Architectural, or closely related) with partnership ambitions. The work primarily involves evaluations of buildings and developing repair plans. Work is throughout the DFW area. The role is field-oriented and client-facing rather than desk/CAD-heavy.We are specifically looking for an engineer who:enjoys working directly with clientsis comfortable spending time in the fieldcommunicates well one-on-onehas entrepreneurial interest and eventually wants ownership rather than just a paycheckMust Haves:Current Professional Engineer (PE) license (TX), with experience in any civil, architectural, and/or structural engineering. Another state's license considered if ready to apply to the TX Board.Represent the company in a professional manner while working directly with clients.Strong attention to detail, and the deep motivation to provide unbiased, ethical evaluations.Ability to travel to work-sites in DFW, fully inspecting crawl spaces, and walking for much of the day.Bachelor's degree from an accredited school in Civil, Structural, Architectural Engineering, or a closely related discipline with relevant experience.Ideal Background:Experience with one or more of the following: structural framing, commercial/industrial foundations, retaining walls, swimming pools.Exceptional verbal communication skills and comfortable explaining technical issues to laypersons.Self-directed and interested in growing a business - as a partner.Confidential conversations are welcome.Please send a short background summary, LinkedIn profile, resume, or CV if interested.#J-18808-Ljbffr
