Qualifications: Education/Certi fication/Requirements: Currently enrolled in state approved graduate program in school psychologyCompleti on of all academic course work and program approval for internship Special Knowledge/Skills: Excellent organizational, communication, public relations and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of federal and state mandates rega rding special educationAbility to operate computer and software applicationsMajor Responsibilities and Duties 1.Serves as a member of the multidisciplinary evaluation team.2.Participates in ARD committee meetings when appropriate and necessary to ensure eligibility,appropriate instructional and related services goals and objectives.3.Serves as a member of the multidisciplinary evaluation team to ensure "Integrated I IEP's".4.Assist teachers a nd related services staff in developing behavior intervention plans.5.Participates in Manifestation Determination ARD Committee meetings.6 Responsible for completion and submission of Service Delivery Logs.7.Performs ot her assigned duties as may be required by supervisor.8.Assists campus intervention teams during referral process.9.Conducts psychological assessments evaluations for students referred to special education, andcomplet es Multidisciplinary Full and Individual Evaluation reports under the supervision of an LSSP.10. Collaborates with counselor and support staff to provide appropriate support for instruction11. Participates in professional growth activities as required by IDEIA, federal, local and state.13. Assures the provision of procedu ral safeguards for special education students.14 Complies with all requirements as outlined in graduate program and Texas Board of Examiners of Psychologist. 15. Maintains appropriate inventory of professional evaluation ki ts, protocols, and etcetera's .16.Demonstrates the ability to attend work on a regular and routine basis to avoid disruption to districtoperations.17. Demonstrates a high level of independent, ethical, and professional con duct.
