Senior Structural Project Manager (Bridge)Huitt-Zollars has a great full‑time opportunity for a Senior Structural Project Manager (Bridge) PE at our Dallas or Austin office. This full‑time Senior Structural Project Manager position is within our transportation group and should have a minimum of 10 years of Project Management experience with structural clients. This includes conducting meetings with clients, internal disciplines and or contractors and their subs.Design and analyze structural systems for low‑to high‑rise buildings.Coordinate and delegate tasks between multiple disciplines and attend regular meetings.Effectively mentor young engineers and assist in their development.Assist and work with senior staff to develop project budgets and proposed fees.Review shop drawings, perform field inspections, and facilitate the construction administration process.Demonstrate competency in all project phases.Perform quality reviews of engineering plans for completeness and engineering accuracy.Key ResponsibilitiesUndertakes Project Manager responsibilities for major projects ($2.0+ million annual billing).Prepares and follows comprehensive Project Framework Instructions and proper work planning for a project. Ensures proper staff is assigned and utilized on their projects.Reviews project reports and performance metrics to track project progress and budget. Leads successful projects (profit, on‑schedule, quality, satisfied client).Contributes to successful delivery and performance of projects.Cultivates relationships with clients and holds strong relationships with clients.Understands, follows, and enforces Huitt‑Zollars' business process including weekly rhythm.Takes active steps in the pursuit of winning new business or additional opportunities with existing clients and is responsible for assigned portion of office sales goal. Assists and/or leads team in pursuit of new work (repeat work, SOQ and Proposals). Develops and/or executes project Win strategy.Understands and follows HZ QMS and Quality initiatives.
