This is a Base Salary Plus Commission Position:


  • Base Salary is $30-35K based on experience
  • Entry Level Producer can expect to average 10,000-20,000 Commission 1st Year
  • Experienced Producer can expect to average 25,000-45,000 Commission 1st Year


*A large part of earning commission will be based on your drive and ambition.

  • Comfortable with sales conversations and confident presenting to others (bilingual a plus)
  • Self-managed and proactive--this is not a position for someone who needs constant supervision
  • Must be coachable and open to learning new systems, tools, and strategies
  • Licensed in Property & Casualty and Life & Health in Texas--or willing to earn licenses within 30 days
  • Previous experience in sales, hospitality, customer service, or telemarketing preferred



Salary Range: $30000.00 - $50000.00 per year

Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Learn how to sell and cross-sell insurance products (Auto, Home, Life, Commercial)
  • Build relationships with clients to help protect what matters most
  • Call perspective clients for the purpose of presenting insurance proposals and selling policies
  • Explain coverages and rates to meet the Client's needs
  • Follow a pipeline for managing leads in the lead management system(s)
  • Follow-up, Manage tasks, and Call Backs Daily
  • Follow proven sales systems to hit your goals
  • Work closely with an experienced agent who will coach you every step of the way

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Candidates must pass the Farmers Insurance Application process and a background check, which includes: State and Federal Criminal History and Regulatory Actions
  • Fully Property & Casualty Licensed and Appointed with Farmers Group of Companies (provided by agency) If not currently licensed, must be licensed within 30 days
  • Sales experience is preferred
  • Must be capable of improvising and handling objections
  • Must be able to multitask multiple screens at once
  • Must be able to be on the phone 95% of the time
  • Must be skilled at typing (30+wpm)
  • Must be 18 or older (background check will be performed)
  • Must have reliable transportation
