The Autism Center of Excellence is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to conduct autism spectrum disorder (ASD) evaluations for pediatric clients in our Fayetteville, NC clinic.
This is a full-time, salaried position offering a competitive base salary and the opportunity to focus on high-quality diagnostic work within a structured, supportive clinical environment.

Our Fayetteville location is an expanding clinic with increasing referral volume, a newly renovated space, and a growing need for diagnostic services.
Compensation:
$130,000 – $150,000 annual salary
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in pediatric populations
- Complete clinical interviews with parents/caregivers and gather developmental history
- Administer and score standardized assessment tools, including ADOS-2 and other appropriate measures
- Observe and assess social communication, behavior, and developmental functioning
- Integrate clinical findings and determine diagnoses based on DSM-5 criteria
- Prepare clear, thorough, and timely written evaluation reports
- Provide feedback sessions to families, including diagnosis and recommendations
- Collaborate with clinical and interdisciplinary team members as needed
- Maintain compliance with ethical, legal, and HIPAA standards
Requirements
- Active Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) in the state of North Carolina required
- Experience conducting diagnostic evaluations for autism spectrum disorder in children required
- Experience with ADOS-2 or similar standardized diagnostic tools preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills
- Ability to communicate findings clearly and compassionately to families
- Strong documentation and report writing skills
Educational Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology or a related field required
