Overview:
Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) ('direct supervision' means an RN is on the premises and immediately physically available), provides technical nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process and standards of practice for the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Assignments are performed appropriately to age and developmental level of patients being served.

One year or less training as an LPN.

Required Licensure/Certifications

Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.

Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training within ninety (90) days, and then annually, is required for the Psych Unit.
