Assists physicians and staff in the delivery of patient care as directed following established methods, procedures and standards. Under minimum supervision, utilizes a systematic approach to patient care incorporating the following: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. May occasionally be requested to float to other Family Medicine clinics to assist in covering patient load.
Certification as Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nursing
(degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)At least six (6) months previous front and back-office experience in a health clinic setting or equivalent experience.
