Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) –Skilled Nursing - Premium Evening Program - Southmont

Washington, PA – Full-time; Hourly, Non-exempt; Evening shift

Premium Program Rate: $31.00/hour + $3,000 sign-on bonus

Southmont also provides short-term rehabilitation that can include physical, occupational, and/or speech therapies.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) coordinates, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care for a designated group of residents. The role provides leadership and direction to CNAs and other caregivers to deliver and maintain quality care within the established policies, procedures, and guidelines of the PA State Nurse Practice Act. LPNs may manage the overall care of a designated group of residents with oversight by an RN Supervisor as needed. Experienced team members may be designated as the Team Leader of a specific nursing unit.

Requirements for theLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Holds an LPN license in good standing from the State of PA.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing and Dementia Care is preferred.
• Ability to work well with people and show enthusiasm and motivation.
• Self-directed and able to set priorities; excellent time management skills.
• Desire to contribute to our compassionate, resident-focused culture and effectively interact with residents, resident families, and team members.
