Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) –Skilled Nursing - Premium Evening Program - Longwood at Oakmont

 

Verona, PA – Full-time; Hourly, Non-exempt; 2 PM - 10:30 PM with every other weekend

 

Program Rate:$34/hour

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) coordinates, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for a designated group of residents and provides leadership and direction to CNAs and other caregivers to deliver and maintain quality care within established policies, procedures, and guidelines of the Pennsylvania State Nurse Practice Act.

Requirements for theLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN): 

 

  • Holds a Licensed Practical Nurse license in good standing from the State of PA
  • Ability to work well with people and show enthusiasm and motivation
  • Self-directed and able to set priorities; excellent time management skills
  • Desire to contribute to our compassionate, resident-focused culture and effectively interact with residents, resident families, and team members

From a quiet, humble beginning as the Presbyterian Home in January of 1928, Presbyterian SeniorCare has emerged as western Pennsylvania's largest provider of care and services to older adults (Pittsburgh Business Times, January 2012).
