Job Overview:

 We have an opportunity for a per diem Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Outpatient Clinic team.

Responsibilities:
  • The LPN is accountable for providing care for pediatric patients. 
  • Works as an advocate for patients and families in a collaborative effort with the multidisciplinary team. 
  • Works to achieve quality outcomes using a family centered care philosophy. 
  • Demonstrates flexibility in working hours in order to meet patient care requirements.
  • Communicates in a positive and proactive manner at all times including, but not limited to, telephone interactions and gives concise report when leaving work area.
  • Documents care provided completely and concisely according to guidelines and in compliance with The Joint Commission and Title 22 requirements.
  • Assists with Telehealth appointments as needed
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Required

Certificate in Nursing

LPN License in state of practice

Basic Life Support (BLS)

 

 

Preferred

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) 

At least 1 year of pediatric ortho, burns, and/or rehab
