AS A LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE LPN or MEDICAL ASSISTANT MA, you will support the physician or mid-level provider with assisting in development, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in the office. He/she will be required to coordinate the care with other services or outside healthcare providers. The LPN will serve as a liaison between the physician, the mid-level provider, and all other healthcare providers.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Completion of a Practical Nursing Program or Medical Assistant degree required
- Current LPN or MA licensure in the state of Pennsylvania required
- Knowledge in regulatory requirements of third-party payors such as Medicare, Medicaid, and Blue Shield preferred
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association within the first year of hire required
- Two years of office experience preferred
- Familiarity with Microsoft applications preferred
