SUMMARYProvides nursing care and coordinates medical/psychiatric care for Red Rock clients. Provides clients with continuity of care. IF PACT: Organizes and manages the system of getting medications ordered and delivered to the clients; assesses physical health needs; makes appropriate referrals to community physicians; provides management and administration of medication in conjunction with the psychiatrist; provides a range of treatment, rehabilitation and support services and shares shift-management responsibility with other staff.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerforms nursing assessments in order to identify client's needs, plan of care. Provides treatment for existing and emergency health care conditions. Assesses for medical appropriateness for admission and continually assesses throughout clients' stay. Consults with Psychiatrist if change in medical status occurs with referral to more appropriate level of care from crisis centerAdministers medication and maintains clinical charts.
