Qualifications

  • Current Alabama LPN License or Temporary Practical Nurse License
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented


Essential Job Duties

  • Administer prescribed medications accurately and safely
  • Complete electronic documentation, assessments, and resident charting
  • Monitor residents and report changes in condition to physicians and responsible parties
  • Order medications through the pharmacy as needed
  • Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
  • Perform wound care according to physician orders and facility protocols
  • Collect and process laboratory specimens
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional resident care
  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations
