Ro Health is looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at an adult correctional facility in Phoenix, Arizona! This position plays a vital role in providing essential care to incarcerated individuals, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and therapeutic environment within the facility.


Details:

  • Location: Phoenix, AZ
  • Schedule: 7 pm - 7:30 AM, 3x12's
  • Employment Type: Contract

Qualifications:

  • Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license (in good standing)
  • At least 6 months of RN experience
  • BLS Certification from the American Heart Association
  • Valid TB Test for the last year
  • N95 Fit test using one of the following masks: #46867 (small) and #46767 (regular)
  • Ability to pass a strict background check and fingerprint clearance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring proper dosages for adolescent patients
  • Monitor and document vital signs while assessing patients for any signs of distress or illness
  • Provide wound care and first aid for injuries common in a correctional facility
  • Assist with chronic condition management, such as asthma, diabetes, and mental health concerns
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care until higher-level support arrives
  • Collaborate with behavioral health teams to address emotional and psychological needs
  • Ensure infection control and hygiene standards in a communal living environment
  • Maintain documentation and communicate health updates with RNs, facility staff, and guardians as needed
