What You''ll Do
- Administer medications safely and accurately under physician orders
- Monitor patients before dosing and provide compassionate patient care
- Perform medication inventory and maintain accurate documentation
- Obtain vital signs, administer TB testing, and collect laboratory specimens as needed
- Assist the Medical Director with patient assessments and clinic operations
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, CARF, DEA, and state regulations
- Answer patient questions and provide outstanding customer service
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team dedicated to improving patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of direct patient care experience
- Clinical or outpatient nursing experience preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and nursing practices
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
- Experience in behavioral health, addiction medicine, substance use disorder (SUD), or Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is a plus
