Our client is seeking a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) is needed to lead the operational, clinical, regulatory, and financial performance of a skilled nursing or long‑term care facility. This role oversees day‑to‑day operations, ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, and drives high‑quality resident care through strong leadership and strategic direction. The Administrator will serve as the primary executive leader for the facility and will collaborate closely with regional and organizational leadership.

Responsibilities:
- Foster a safe, supportive, and compliant environment for residents and staff.
- Maintain a culture of accountability, collaboration, and resident‑centered care.
- Oversee budgeting, financial planning, census development, and cost‑management initiatives.
- Lead and develop department managers and interdisciplinary teams to achieve organizational goals.
- Ensure adherence to state and federal long‑term care regulations, survey readiness, and quality standards.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with residents, families, staff, community partners, and regulatory agencies.
- Implement strategic initiatives that support quality improvement, operational efficiency, and organizational growth.
- Provide executive leadership for all facility operations, including clinical services, regulatory compliance, staffing, resident care, and financial performance.
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- High level of initiative, follow‑through, and results orientation.
- Previous experience as both an LNHA and Assistant Administrator.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute in fast‑paced, evolving environments.
- Demonstrated success leading skilled nursing, assisted living, or residential care operations.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage complex environments, and drive organizational results.
- Minimum 2–5 years of administrator‑level experience in long‑term care or post‑acute settings.
- Ability to build trust‑based relationships with staff, residents, families, and community partners.
- Deep understanding of operational planning, budgeting, staffing models, and quality improvement.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
- Active Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) license in good standing (Vermont and/or New York accepted)
- Strong knowledge of long‑term care regulations, payer systems, survey processes, and healthcare operations.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience managing multi‑site or high‑acuity facilities.
- 10+ years of LNHA experience in skilled nursing or long‑term care.
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
Work Environment:
This is an in‑person leadership position within a skilled nursing or long‑term care facility. Administrators must be present on site and available to support staff, residents, and operational needs.
