Position Overview

Release and Renew Mental Wellness, LLC is seeking a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to provide outpatient mental health services under clinical supervision. This role is ideal for clinicians seeking to build clinical hours, strengthen therapeutic skills, and progress toward independent licensure in a supportive, growth-focused environment.

This is a billable clinical role with structured expectations, strong supervision, and opportunities for professional advancement.

Schedule & Compensation

  • Employment Type: Part-Time
  • Schedule: 10–15 billable sessions per week
  • Status: W-2 or 1099
  • Work Location: Hybrid (Towson, MD + Telehealth)

Compensation Options:

  • W-2: $55–$65 per session
  • 1099: 60/40 split

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults
  • Maintain 10–15 billable sessions per week
  • Conduct intakes, biopsychosocial assessments, and treatment planning
  • Utilize evidence-based interventions, including CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care
  • Complete documentation within 24–48 hours, including:
    • Biopsychosocial assessments (BPS)
    • Treatment plans
    • Progress notes
    • Discharge summaries
  • Conduct risk assessments (SI/HI) and develop safety plans
  • Coordinate care with internal providers and external community resources

Compliance & Quality

  • Maintain compliance with:
    • HIPAA and confidentiality standards
    • Maryland regulations (COMAR)
    • CARF accreditation standards
  • Ensure documentation reflects:
    • Medical necessity
    • Treatment goals and outcomes
    • Risk assessment and clinical decision-making

Supervision & Professional Development

  • Paid clinical supervision provided
  • Biweekly individual supervision + group supervision

Performance Expectations

  • Maintain consistent client engagement and attendance

Qualifications

  • Active Maryland LMSW license
  • Strong clinical, documentation, and time management skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload in a hybrid environment
  • Commitment to ethical, professional, and culturally responsive care

Work Environment

Hybrid role requiring a minimum of two (2) in-office days per month in Towson, Maryland, with remaining services provided via telehealth.
