Trade Management is partnering with one of our premier commercial electrical contractors to hire experienced Licensed Journeyman Electricians for long-term commercial construction projects in the Austin area. If you have a current Texas Journeyman Electrical License and experience on large commercial projects, we'd like to speak with you.

Position Details

  • Position: Licensed Journeyman Electrician

  • Location: Austin & Surrounding Areas

  • Pay: $34.00 - $42.00 per hour (DOE)

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Duration: Long-Term

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday with overtime opportunities

Position Overview

The Licensed Journeyman Electrician will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems on commercial construction projects. Candidates must be able to work independently from blueprints while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install conduit (EMT, Rigid, PVC, MC Cable)

  • Pull wire and terminate electrical equipment

  • Install panels, switchgear, transformers, and lighting systems

  • Read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings

  • Perform rough-in and finish electrical work

  • Install branch circuits and feeders

  • Troubleshoot electrical systems as needed

  • Ensure all work complies with NEC and local electrical codes

  • Maintain OSHA safety standards on the jobsite

Requirements

  • Current Texas Journeyman Electrician License (Required)

  • 5+ years of commercial electrical experience

  • Experience with new commercial construction

  • Ability to read blueprints independently

  • Experience bending conduit by hand and machine

  • Must have reliable transportation and basic hand tools

  • OSHA 10 preferred

  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening
