How You Will Make a Difference
- • Complete biopsychosocial assessments, suicide and violence risk screens (e.g., C‑SSRS), and ASAM when indicated.
- • Obtain collateral, verify benefits, and coordinate bed placement with nursing/medical leadership.
- • Consult with the on‑call psychiatrist/NP; formulate provisional diagnoses and recommendations.
- • Document clearly in the EMR and communicate decisions to patients, families, and referral sources.
- • Coordinate with rounding providers and daytime interdisciplinary teams to keep care plans moving.
- • Support safe discharges and smooth handoffs to evening/night teams.
What We’re Looking For
- • Active independent licensure (e.g., LISW‑S, LPCC‑S, LMFT‑S, or state equivalent).
- • 2+ years acute behavioral health or crisis evaluation experience.
- • Expertise in risk assessment, de‑escalation, and payer authorization processes.
