We are continuing to grow our sales team here in Battle Creek and the surrounding areas. This is not a cold-start sales role. Our agency provides the infrastructurewarm leads, inbound opportunities, CRM structure, and a licensed service teamso producers can focus entirely on quality new-business conversations.
Compensation & Earnings:
- Base Salary: $36,000 per year (guaranteed).
- Earning Potential: Realistic first-year earnings of $60,000+ through commission and bonus opportunities
- Upside: Additional growth for producers who follow the system, maintain activity standards, and write quality business.
- Note: The posted salary range reflects total annual compensation, not base salary alone.

Requirements & Selection:
This is a selective opportunity. We are hiring a limited number of producers; candidates must complete an assessment and demonstrate follow-through during the hiring process.
- A Michigan Property & Casualty license is strongly preferred.
- Licensed candidates will be prioritized.
- Strong sales candidates who are not yet licensed may be considered if they can complete Michigan licensing prior to their start date.
Salary Range: $60000.00 - $85000.00 per year

Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound leads and run a consistent sales process (calls, texts, follow-up).
- Quote and sell personal lines insurance (auto/home) and confidently bundle households.
- Maintain accurate notes and pipeline tracking in the CRM (follow-up is non-negotiable).
- Attend daily sales training, roleplay, and coachingapply feedback immediately.
- Hit weekly activity goals and monthly production targets through disciplined execution.
- Educate prospects clearly, overcome objections professionally, and close with confidence.
- Protect lead spend by working leads efficiently, following the process, and using time wisely.
- Build rapport with target households and be referrable.
- Work as part of a teambring energy, accountability, and a strong standard of professionalism every day.
Requirements
- Must have current Property & Casualty producer license (or able to obtain within 2 weeks of offer and before starting).
- Coachable, structured, and able to follow a proven process daily.
- Strong communication skillsconfident, outgoing, and persuasive without being pushy.
- Reliable and consistent: shows up on time, manages tasks, and follows through.
- Comfortable in a performance-based role with clear expectations, metrics, and accountability.
- Competitive mindset and motivated by measurable goals.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn CRM systems quickly.
- High integrityinsurance is regulated and requires accurate, compliant conversations.
- Prior sales experience is a plus, but not required if you can demonstrate discipline, competitiveness, and a track record of learning fast.
