Position Overview:

As an Insurance Agent specializing in both personal and commercial insurance, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals and businesses protect their assets through our diverse range of insurance products. Your primary responsibilities will include assessing client needs, providing tailored insurance solutions, and building long-lasting relationships with clients. You will be expected to set and achieve ambitious sales goals to drive growth and ensure client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Prospect for and sell personal and commercial insurance policies for new and existing customers.

Create and maintain positive relationships with new and existing customers by being professional and efficient in your interactions

Stay informed about industry trends, regulations and changes to insurance products.

Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance client service.

Be motivated to aggressively work lead lists, generate a pipeline of prospects, process quotes, update files, follow up when necessary, sell and process insurance applications.

Utilize systems properly and efficiently for customer retention, acquisition and compliance.

Educate new and existing customers about products offered by the agency.

Set and pursue sales goals to expand the client base and increase revenue.

Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and growth opportunities.


Requirements

Property and Casualty license

Minimum of 1-3 years experience in the insurance industry in sales and/or customer service.

Demonstrate strong knowledge of insurance products and usages, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations to effectively secure new business and maintain existing client base.

Have a proven track record of business to business sales success. Possess strong presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills with the ability to close sales.

Possess strong organizational skills with an ability to complete assignments without supervision, sound business judgment, strong decision-making and superior written and verbal communication skills.

Have strong time management skills, thrive in a team environment and Technology and Computer proficiency including agency management systems .

Must have a willingness to excel and grow, be open-minded, and be positive.

A proactive approach to problem-solving and client service.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
