Practice Overview:
A community-focused behavioral health organization is seeking a full-time Licensed Clinician to provide high-quality mental health and substance use disorder services to children and adults. This role offers a collaborative, team-based environment with strong clinical support, opportunities for growth, and a mission-driven approach to serving diverse and underserved populations.
This position is ideal for both experienced clinicians and new graduates with relevant clinical training. Candidates must be available to start within 2-3 weeks.
Position Overview:
The Licensed Clinician will provide direct clinical services, including assessments, treatment planning, and therapy, while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team. The role includes participation in case conferences, staff meetings, and crisis intervention as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions
- Deliver crisis intervention services when required
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary treatment team
- Participate in case conferences, clinical reviews, and staff meetings
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using an electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Serve both children and adult populations, including underserved communities
- Knowledge of North Carolina public mental health system resources
Experience Requirements: - Mental health counseling: 2+ years preferred
- Substance use disorder treatment: 1+ year preferred
- Individual and group counseling: 1+ year preferred
- New graduates with relevant clinical training are encouraged to apply
Minimum Qualifications: - Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field
- Active or Associate Licensure in North Carolina (Required): (LCSW, LCSWA, LCMHC, LCMHCA, LCAS, LCASA, LMFT, LMFTA)
