About the Role: 
Join a clinician-centered multidisciplinary team of counselors, social workers, and psychologists in Columbia, MD and be part of our growth as we expand throughout the Mid-Atlantic region! At Ellie Mental Health in Columbia, we are clinician-centered, taking care of our staff so that they can provide excellent care for their clients. Each clinician has access to flexible scheduling, health insurance, PTO, weekly case consultation groups, free CEUs, and monthly team activities focused on clinician well-being.  Strong candidates will bring a sense of humor, thrive in collaborative team environments rather than working alone, and have a demonstrated track record of working well with clients from a wide range of backgrounds.   
 
We have immediate, full-time openings for MD licensed counselors (LPC), social workers (LISW, LICSW), and psychologists (LP).  
 
Required Responsibilities: 
  • Maintain a caseload of 25 client sessions per week 
  • Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create and implement treatment plans, and complete ongoing documentation including case notes according to company policy 
  • Provide excellent customer service for clients 
  • Coordinate services with other providers as needed 
  • Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings including case consultations 
Optional Opportunities: 
  • Participate in community activities, such as tabling at events, networking, and community presentations 
  • Supervise LGSW, LGPC, and psychology associates after demonstrating excellent clinical and interpersonal skills  
  • Develop and run clinical programs to expand access to high quality mental health care 
  • Develop social media content for multiple platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube 
  • Employees with excellent job performance will be eligible for promotion into leadership roles as we expand throughout Howard County MD, Washington, DC, and Delaware 
Requirements: 
  • Master’s or doctorate degree in social work, counseling, and/or psychology  
  • Required to be a licensed mental health professional in Maryland who isable to practice independently  
  • Required experience with completing diagnostic assessments/intake evaluations, treatment plans, and clinical case notes 
  • LGBTQIA+ affirming perspective required 
  • Commitment to culturally competent care, cultural humility, and lifelong learning 
  • Ideal candidates will have experience with clinical care, insurance billing, and DC regulations, and high ethical standards 
  • Clinicians who speak more than one language strongly encouraged to apply
