The Job

The Department of Aging and Adult Services-Office of the Public Guardian is recruiting for a Pre-Licensed Clinical Therapist and Licensed Clinical Therapist* who will provide at-home and field-based services, as well as rehabilitative mental health services in community settings. This position requires frequent field-based travel and working outside of the office. A current vacancy exists in the age wise program but the list will be used to fill vacancies through out the department as they occur.

Office of the Public Guardian:

The Office of the Public Guardian acts as the court-appointed conservator of last resort for individuals who are unable to provide for their basic needs. We administer two types of conservatorship after appointment by the Superior Court of California: LPS (Lanterman, Petris, Short Act) conservatorship and probate conservatorship.

Age Wise:

Age Wise is a non-traditional behavioral health program that supports high-risk and underserved adults age 59 and older by connecting them to services that meet basic needs and enhance overall well-being. The interdisciplinary team provides in-home behavioral health therapy, case management, and comprehensive wraparound services, partnering with community organizations to address the full scope of mental health conditions for those who receive or qualify for Medi-Cal. Services are offered throughout San Bernardino County.

Be sure to mark a willingness to work within a field-based position that requires travel in order to be considered.
