What Youll Bring to the Role:
Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a clinical setting, with at least 1 year specifically in oncology
License as a Georgia Licensed Clinical Social Worker (GA LCSW)
Current BLS certification (AHA approved)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect empathetically with patients and families
Knowledge of psychosocial assessments and therapeutic interventions
Hospital-based experience preferred, with the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
Additional Skills That Would Elevate Your Application:
Experience with multidisciplinary team coordination
Familiarity with psycho-oncology practices
Bilingual skills or language proficiency in additional languages
Prior experience with patient advocacy and resource coordination
Preferred Education and Experience:
Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
At least 2 years of recent clinical experience, including in oncology settings
Valid GA LCSW license and BLS certification
Other Requirements:
Professional licensure and certifications up to date
Ability to travel within hospital units or between facilities as needed
