JOB OVERVIEW:
Joseph J. Peters Institute (JJPI) is a leading specialized provider of trauma treatment services and forensic behavioral health services in the Philadelphia region. JJPI serves children, adolescents, and adult survivors of trauma; adolescents and adults with a history of problem sexual behavior; and adults with a history of relational violence. JJPI provides evidence-based and evidence-informed assessment and treatment to child, adolescent, and adult survivors of sexual, interpersonal, and other forms of trauma at our Broad Street location and individuals with sexual behavior problems and/or relational violence histories at our Chestnut Street location.
The Coordinator of Survivor Services provides clinical and administrative leadership for JJPI's Survivor Services program, which serves around 1,200 clients per year. The Coordinator directs a multidisciplinary team of professionals delivering evidence-based practices to aid child, adolescent, and adult survivors of traumatic experiences to recover and heal. This position works intensively in the realm of trauma treatment and in evidence-based practices specific to trauma, including TF-CBT, PE, and DBT. The position reports to the Director of Survivor and Community-Based Services (DSCBS).
