Job Responsibilities:

Serves as primary communication liaison between clients, family members, managed care representatives, and behavioral healthcare personnel. Assures the continuity of patient care upon completion of the assessment by assisting in the implementation of the referral recommendation. Provides therapeutic and educational services to patients, family, staff, and community. Appropriately assesses suicide, violence, and elopement potential. Facilitates appropriate milieu management within the emergency departments and medical units.

 

Requirements:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Organizational • Verbal Interpersonal • Customer Relations • Grammar/Spelling • Read/Comprehend written instructions

Education: • Masters [Required] • Field of Study: N/A

Work Experience: • 3+ in direct behavioral clinical work at an inpatient, outpatient, emergency or residential treatment facility or setting [Required]

Licenses and Certifications: • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT [Required] OR • Licensed Psychologist (PSYCH [Required] OR • Clinical Social Worker License (LCSW [Required] OR • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC [Required] OR • Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS [Required] • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS [Preferred]
