The position is fully onsite in Richmond and requires someone who can work independently, learn new systems quickly, and manage multiple priorities with a high level of accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

Career Services Support

  • Upload, organize, and manage electronic records within Anthology or similar information systems.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential participant and employment records.
  • Support data entry and document tracking for the CPR Training Center.
  • Assist with basic resume reviews and career-readiness support as needed.

Library Services Support

  • Process interlibrary loan requests and coordinate the delivery of articles and books.
  • Prepare print materials for shelving and circulation.
  • Assist with collection maintenance, including organizing materials and removing outdated resources.
  • Check library materials in and out and update student patron accounts using Sierra ILS.
  • Shelve returned materials and help maintain an orderly collection.
  • Assist students with library access, resource navigation, computer use, and basic technology questions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
  • Strong data-entry, records-management, and electronic filing experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to learn databases and software applications quickly.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and related business applications.
  • Excellent written communication, proofreading, and editing skills.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and manage competing priorities.
  • Professional judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Previous library, administrative, customer service, or educational support experience is preferred.
  • Experience with Anthology, Sierra ILS, or similar systems is helpful but not required.
  • Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 35 pounds.

This temporary opportunity is well suited to someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable with technology, and energized by supporting students and educational programs.

Interested candidates are encouraged to apply or share this opportunity with someone in their network who may be a strong fit.
