Join our team as a Librarian I - Youth!
Provide reference, reader's advisory, programming, and outreach services for children and young adults within the library system.
Assist patrons with inquiries, offer bibliographic instruction, and develop engaging programs such as storytimes and the Summer Reading Program.
Coordinate with schools and agencies, manage collections, and supervise staff or volunteers in the absence of the branch manager.
Maintain records, participate in training, and stay current with library trends and technologies.
Requires a Master's Degree in Library Science (or nearing completion), one year of experience preferred, and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
Must be able to work evenings and weekends, and possess a valid driver’s license.
Candidates should have strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to serving youth populations.
