Librarian, HS

The school librarian provides library media services to support student learning and access to information.

They collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate resources and instructional strategies that enhance literacy, research skills, and effective information use.

The librarian manages the school library program and resources to align with division standards and promote student achievement.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Virginia endorsement for School Librarian (PreK-12) through an approved program or coursework
• Completion of a supervised practicum or one year of full-time experience as a school librarian
