Duties and Responsibilities
As a Librarian, Branch Manager, you'll lead a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional library services, programs, and outreach to a diverse community. You'll help shape the vision for your branch, support staff development, and foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.
You'll serve as both a leader and collaborator-managing daily operations, mentoring staff, and ensuring the library remains a vital hub of learning, connection, and discovery.

As Branch Manager, you'll play a key role in shaping not only your library's daily operations, but also its lasting impact on the community.
To succeed in this role, you'll need strong communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively with a team, and a commitment to providing inclusive service to a diverse community. You should be comfortable engaging with patrons of all ages, including children, teens, and those who speak languages other than English. Initiative, creativity, and flexibility are key-along with a willingness to grow and learn.
Spanish language skills are a plus.

Retirees of the Investment Plan are eligible for renewed membership in the Investment Plan only. FRS reemployment rules apply for both.
