Location: New York Work Mode: Local Schedule: Part Time - Up to 21 hours per week. Scheduled is 8AM-5PM, Weekends included Duration: 16W
Responsibilities:
Monitor hand hygiene practices and staff compliance with isolation precautions and personal protective equipment.
Conduct quality assurance checks for shared mobile equipment in various areas across all eight company campuses.
Conduct direct observations, the gold standard in monitoring hand hygiene and other infection prevention practices.
Educate healthcare workers about missed hand hygiene or infection prevention opportunities.
Document and communicate observation results to supervisors, managers, Patient Care Directors (PCDs), medical directors, and other hospital leaders.
Report directly to the Program Manager for Infection Prevention & Control Department.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED with matriculation in a two or four-year college program.
Strong interpersonal skills, highly organized, excellent communication and multi-tasking skills.
Ability to work with diverse community groups.
Excellent communication skills to convey mission and purpose to internal and external stakeholders.
