RN Level II – Cardiothoracic Unit (Contract)

Location: New York 14642
Pay: $2,084 – $2,338/week
Shift: 3x12s, Rotating Day/Evening/Night Shifts (07:00 AM – 07:00 PM / 07:00 PM – 07:00 AM)

Position Summary & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care on a 25-bed cardiothoracic surgical unit

• Care for thoracic, foregut, plastics, burn, and pulmonary hypertension patients

• Monitor post-operative and stepdown patients requiring higher acuity care

• Utilize telemetry and manage complex equipment (lines, tubes, drains)

• Serve in expanded roles such as charge nurse, preceptor, or team support as needed

• Work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, on-call, and callback as required

Requirements

• Licensure: Active New York RN License – Required

• Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years RN experience – Required

  • Telemetry experience – Required

• Certifications:

  • BLS (AHA) – Required

Additional Details

• 48 hours may be considered at straight time

• Rotating schedule based on unit needs
