As a vital member of our team, you'll help members achieve their financial goals through our "Let's Win. Together." principle. We are looking for a seasoned Lending Support Specialist in the Consumer Lending Servicing Department to assist the Credit Union with achieving its business goals while accurately and confidently performing all Consumer Lending Servicing Department support duties and responsibilities ensuring that all loan files are complete and accurate while maintaining confidentiality.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Reviews funded loans regularly to ensure accuracy, identity verification and lien perfection. Consumer, VISA and home equity loan lists are uploaded weekly and completed mortgages should be reviewed monthly. May assist with exception resolutions as needed.
• Review and process Subordination requests as they are received. This requires review of the mortgage documents received and the current LOC home equity agreement. The Subordination Agreement will need to be sent to the appropriate county for recording.
• Home Equity Pay-Off Requests and Discharges involve preparing a pay-off letter when requested and discharging the mortgage document for paid off home equity loans. Mortgage Discharges will be mailed to the appropriate county for recording. Early Closure Fees will be posted if applicable.
• Manages the home equity expiring reports and mails required letters as needed.
• Promptly process termination statements when consumer loans are paid off and when requested by the member.

The ideal candidate is someone with excellent communication and organizational skills, strong sales abilities, good computer skills, and a passion for helping members and teammates. A GED or high school diploma is required.
