Responsibilities

Performs secretarial and administrative duties to support the VP & General Counsel, VP Enterprise Risk Management, and the Legal/Risk Management team.

May also be assigned substantive tasks within the Legal/Risk Management function commensurate with the incumbent's skills and experience.

Garnet Health System provides a compensation range to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The range for the role is $62,361-$77,951 salaried. The range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

When determining a team member's compensation and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget, and internal equity).

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • Associate's Degree required.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Minimum Experience:

  • At least five (5) years as the principal administrative support to a manager, director, or senior executive, preferably in a healthcare environment.

Required Certification/Registration:

  • Paralegal training preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work is primarily sedentary with intermittent standing and walking.
  • No heavy lifting.

Mental Demands:

  • Must be able to:
  • Triage, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks in an often highly stressful environment while maintaining composure and professionalism at all times.
  • Represent the collaborative and supportive mission of the Legal/Risk Management team to the entire organization.
