About the job

The Cloud Legal Program Management Office (PMO) is the operational engine that powers Google Cloud Legal and supports Cloud"s growth at scale. We transform complexity into clarity by building the frameworks, rhythms, and systems that allow global legal teams to operate with agility and speed. As architects of these systems, we drive the operational infrastructure required to make sustainable growth possible. Design the operational heartbeat for global teams, ensuring hundreds of stakeholders stay aligned and empowered. Treat excellence as a product, creating workflows that leverage automation and data to build the future of legal operations. Bridge teams across the globe, fostering a collaborative culture where efficiency gains contribute directly to Google Cloud's success.

As a Cloud Legal Program Manager, you support complex, multi-disciplinary projects that empower legal teams. You design and maintain the operational rhythms that keep global teams aligned. Key responsibilities include planning requirements with collaborators, ushering projects through their entire lifecycle, identifying process bottlenecks, and clearly communicating efficiency gains and risks to stakeholders.

You are equally comfortable explaining organizational metrics and scaling strategies to team members as you are discussing workflow automation needs with systems architects and tech enablement teams. You manage projects of various sizes and scopes, identifying opportunities for AI transformation, improving resource allocation, and driving sustainable growth.

This is an individual contributor role. In addition to initiating new projects and scaling opportunities, you will support established work streams such as regulatory compliance management, product launch legal operational support, and client knowledge distillation.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $136000 - $197000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Cloud and Legal stakeholders to ensure legal operations align with business objectives.
  • Lead projects from design to implementation to improve global workflow consistency, including creating associated playbooks, training materials, and guidance for legal workflows.
  • Maintain knowledge repositories and best practice frameworks for legal staff.
  • Build automated, self-sustaining legal support models that reduce review times and support business scale.
