Established full service commercial real estate firm in Newport Beach is seeking an associate to join our firm and work in a professional environment to support the CEO/General Counsel, as well as be a major part of our operations team.  

We own and manage all of our own properties and as a licensed real estate broker we keep all of our leasing activities in-house, therefore the position offers many opportunities to be directly involved in many engaging aspects of the business. 

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the design, coordination and management of Tenant Improvement Projects, as well as major project upgrades
  • Drafting commercial lease documents 
  • Preparing lease abstracts
  • Drafting correspondence and tenant communications
  • Asist with financing, acquisitions, dispositions involving our commercial real estate portfolio
  • Asist with the Common Area and Maintenance Reconciliations (CAM Recs)
  • Assists with operational responsibilities including tenant move-ins and move-outs, account reconciliations.
  • Assisting company general counsel with the preparation of legal documents
  • E-filing of court documents in LA/OC
  • Managing our CoStar and other multi-listing accounts
  • Assisting with the management and onboarding of vendors
  • Assist with company sponsorship of community events and activities
  • Manage digital filing systems to insure a consistent companywide approach.
  • Coordinate travel and conference call schedules

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 + years of experience with comparable responsibilities.
  • Solid understanding of real estate practices and principles.
  • Proficient in working with Dropbox or MS OneDrive, Excel, Word and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Familiar with property management software is a plus.
  • Familiarity with LA/OC E-Filing System
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks
  • Professional, organized and disciplined.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and be accountable for your responsibilities.
  • Reliable attendance
  • Attention to Detail is a Must
