LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established, professional services organization to identify a Legal Administrator to support attorneys and legal staff in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone with a strong legal background who thrives on organization, accuracy, and supporting critical legal functions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Draft, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and filings
- Maintain and organize case files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of all records
- Manage complex calendars, including scheduling meetings, court hearings, and deadlines
- Communicate with clients, attorneys, court personnel, and external stakeholders in a professional manner
- Assist with legal research, document gathering, and preparation of case materials
- Coordinate filings and ensure compliance with court procedures and timelines
- Support billing, expense tracking, and administrative reporting as needed (varies by team)
- Perform general administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day legal operations
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Required: Prior experience in a legal administrative, legal assistant, or paralegal role
- Strong understanding of legal terminology, documentation, and court processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with legal software or document management systems preferred
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Experience supporting real estate law (preferred)
- Familiarity with e-filing systems and legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, PACER)
Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $72,000.00 per year
