Legal Billing Specialist

Kforce's client, a prestigious law firm in Parsippany, NJ, seeks a Legal E-Billing Specialist. This position within the accounting department will be reporting to the Assistant Controller. The role will be 4 days in the office & 1 day remote. This firm offer excellent benefits including a 401k plan.

Responsibilities include:

• Handle all aspects of billing procedures for assigned attorneys, including but not limited to preparing transfers, write downs, write offs, time entry edits, address rate issues, respond to client inquiries, etc.
• Heavy electronic billing, including setups, submissions, accruals, appeals, and e-billing collections and correspondence
• Modifying billing rates in the system, including setting up rate sets
• Prepare various billing reports
• Develop and maintain working relationships with billing attorneys, secretaries and management
• Work with the accounting team to achieve monthly and annual billing objectives
• Records all communications in the document management system (iManage)
