Client Overview:
Our client, a large international law firm with a strong global presence, is seeking a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join their Tampa office. This individual will provide administrative and legal support to attorneys in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$65k - $85k

Position Overview:
The Legal Assistant will provide administrative and legal support to attorneys in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Responsibilities of the Legal Assistant:
  • The Legal Assistant will provide administrative and legal support to attorneys, including calendar management, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Prepare, revise, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and other case-related materials.
  • Handle electronic court filings (e-filing) in federal and state courts.
  • The Legal Assistant will maintain and organize physical and electronic case files, ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Coordinate deadlines, court dates, and filing requirements to ensure timely submissions.
  • Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and internal teams in a professional manner.
  • Assist with billing, expense reports, document management, and other administrative tasks as needed.
  • The Legal Assistant will support attorneys with research, document collection, and case preparation for hearings, trials, or closings.
Required Experience/Skills for the Legal Assistant:
  • Minimum 2+ years of Legal Assistant experience in a law firm environment.
  • E-filing experience is required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Legal Assistant:
  • Real estate law experience is a plus.
  • Experience in tax law or litigation is preferred, but not required.
Education Requirements:
  • High school diploma is required.
