Eichelbaum Wardell Hansen Powell & Munoz, PC’s Plano, Texas office is seeking a paralegal to assist attorneys in defending school districts in a variety of practice areas and before administrative agencies and state and federal courts. Responsibilities include case and document management, docketing, drafting pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, and other motions; advanced skills in software such as Adobe Acrobat Professional and Office 365; e-filing; and overall possess solid technical proficiency and digital fluency. Candidate must be working towards or already have an Associate's degree or Certificate in Paralegal Studies from an accredited program. Must have outstanding organizational skills, exceptional work ethic, professional demeanor, and a team attitude. Salary commensurate with experience. Excellent benefits.

Paralegal | Plano, Texas

Our Plano office is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to support our attorneys in defending school districts across Texas. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful work before administrative agencies and in both state and federal courts.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage case files and legal documents with precision and organization
  • Maintain and track court dockets and deadlines
  • Draft pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, and other legal documents
  • Assist attorneys with preparation for depositions, hearings, meetings, and trial
  • Utilize advanced tools, including Adobe Acrobat Professional and Microsoft 365, to streamline workflows
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency with technology and computer systems

  • Currently pursuing or holding an Associate’s Degree or Certificate in Paralegal Studies from an accredited program
