About the Role:

Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, including briefs and contracts.
• Aid in day-to-day responsibilities.
• Manage case files and maintain organized documentation.
• Communicate with clients and other parties to coordinate legal proceedings.
• Schedule appointments, depositions, and court appearances.
• Prepare and file documents with the court in a timely manner.
• Support hearing/trial preparations by organizing exhibits and evidence.

Requirements:

• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a legal assistant or paralegal preferred.
• Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
• Proficient in NJ eCourts and PACER preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic.
