Preferences: The successful candidate will be able to work in a team environment. They must have good organizational skills and keep up with their day-to-day workload. Knowledge of legal concepts, terminology, principles, and procedures. Knowledge of administrative law, terminology, principles, and procedures. Knowledge of the use of legal reference material and legal research. Knowledge of state and federal court policies and procedures. Knowledge of government and legislative processes. Knowledge of Wyoming Statutes and agency mission goals, policies, and procedures.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's Degree (typically in Paralegal/Legal Studies) 0-2 years of progressive work experience (typically in Paralegal /Legal Studies) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Legal Support Specialist OR 3-5 years of progressive work experience (typically in Paralegal /Legal Studies) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Legal Support Specialist OR National Association of Legal Assistants certificate as a CLA or ALS (Certified Legal Assistant) or CP (Certified Paralegal) or National Federation of Paralegal Association PACE Registered Paralegal
