Position Details
Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job
Teach UNIV 1101 Learning Frameworks, one-credit-hour course.
Lecturer-Pool faculty are term positions hired to teach one to four courses per semester. Course requirements include teaching first-year students to achieve academic, career, and personal goals, taking advantage of campus resources, developing community and a sense of belonging, and contributing to our Bearkat community in face-to-face classes at the main campus in Huntsville, Texas. Embedded peer mentor support in each class.
Lecturer-Pool faculty hiring is based upon student demand on a semester-by-semester basis.
Educational Requirements for the Position
Requires a minimum of a Masters degree in a related field for lower-level course offerings.
Experience Required for the Position
Higher Education and teaching experience preferred.
Other Requirements for the Position
This posting is for the Fall 2026 semester.
