Bryant University seeks to fill a Lecturer in Finance position. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and to being an active member of the Finance Department faculty during their time at Bryant University. While we will consider applications from candidates with expertise in all areas of finance, we have a particular need for an individual who could teach at least two of the following undergraduate courses: Financial Management, Intermediate Corporate Finance, Financial Institutions and Markets, Real Estate Finance, Multinational Finance, Risk Management and Insurance, and Debt Securities. Principal Accountabilities
Research Data Support
Bryant subscribes to the typical databases used in financial research (e.g., CRSP, Compustat), plus a number of specialized data services in support of research on corporate governance, banking, investments, and ESG topics. We utilize the WRDS platform at Bryant to organize our research databases. Bryant also provides access to FactSet, Morningstar, and Bloomberg to support research and teaching in Finance in our state of the art Financial Markets Center.
Appointment
The title will be Lecturer in Finance and salary will be based on the candidate qualifications, consistent with AACSB benchmarks. Ideally, the appointment would commence in the Fall 2026 semester, but an appointment starting in January 2027 may also be considered.

Qualifications
Candidates must have at least a Master's Degree in Finance or a related field from an AACSB-International or EQUIS accredited institution.Prior teaching experience in a business school is also required. Evidence of relevant industry or regulatory experience in finance is desirable. Candidates should be open to participating in service activities, such as admission events, campus conferences, and student mentoring at Bryant University.

The Finance Department currently consists of ten tenured or tenure-track faculty members, five full-time non-tenure track Lecturers, and several adjunct professors. Due to high student demand for our courses and programs, we are seeking to grow the size of the full-time Finance Department faculty. Students interested in Finance can earn concentrations in finance as part of our undergraduate degrees in business administration (BSBA) or international business (BSIB). We also offer a specialized concentration in financial services for undergraduate students, and we offer graduate courses in Finance as part of Master's degree programs. Bryant does not have a doctoral program in Finance.
