Position Summary
The Bryan School of Business and Economics at UNC Greensboro invites applications for the position of Lecturer and Director of Economic Analysis and Public Scholarship. This 12-month role is benefits-eligible and 0.75 FTE (part-time), effective on August 1, 2026. The position is designed to strengthen the Bryan School's engagement with external stakeholders, support regional economic development, and enhance the visibility and impact of the Bryan School.
The successful candidate will serve as a strategic bridge between the Bryan School and the broader community by disseminating existing research to public and private sector audiences and identifying and securing research funding opportunities related to economic development.
This position combines leadership in economic development and public engagement (80%) with teaching responsibilities in economics (20%), contributing to both the School's outreach mission and academic excellence.
As a 0.75FTE position, additional compensation may be available (up to 0.25FTE) for externally funded supplemental tasks that fall outside of the position's stated responsibilities, subject to university approval.
