Job Description Summary
As a key player in our Health and Welfare Benefits team, you will manage leave and ADA accommodation processes, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, and company policies. You will provide exceptional support to Team Members, managers, and internal partners throughout the leave cycle and ADA interactive process while coordinating with third-party administrators.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer Leave of Absence Programs and policies, collaborating with team members, HR partners, management, and third-party administrators.
- Engage in the interactive process for ADA Accommodations and the Pregnancy Workers Fairness Act.
- Process a high volume of leave actions accurately and timely in company payroll, timekeeping, and HR systems.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of leave laws, PWFA, and ADA regulations.
- Collaborate with Workers Compensation vendors and HRIS team to ensure successful vendor interfaces.
- Develop, generate, and present reports to analyze leave data and trends.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for leave programs in alignment with HR leadership and Legal.
- Process State Disability Claims as necessary and reconcile payroll files related to leaves.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal leave laws and support project execution when new laws develop.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in US disability/leave administration and ADA accommodation.
- Deep understanding of federal and state disability and paid family leave laws (ADA, FMLA, PFWA, CFRA, HIPPA, etc.) in a multi-state environment.
- Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Independent worker with the ability to exercise discretion and handle conflict.
Preferences
- Workday experience.

- Experience in a high-volume environment or large employer.
- Experience in administering a CA VDI Plan.
