Reports To: Property Manager
Company: Propolis
Propolis is a mission-driven living platform that blends long-term shared housing with hospitality-level short-term stays. We design and operate spaces that feel intentional, welcoming, and community-oriented, while holding ourselves to real operational and service standards.
This is not traditional property management. This is living operations with a hospitality backbone.
The Leasing Agent is the front line of Propolis. You are the first interaction prospective residents and guests have with our brand, and often the lasting impression.
This role combines leasing, hospitality service, communication, and learning. You will work with both long-term residents (coliving) and short-term guests, adapting tone, expectations, and standards depending on the use case.
We are looking for someone with drive, curiosity, emotional intelligence, and a desire to grow, not someone who “already knows everything.”
Respond to inquiries quickly, clearly, and professionally
Convert leads into residents or guests through trust, clarity, and follow-up
Conduct in-person and virtual tours with confidence and warmth
Explain different unit types, living models, and expectations accurately
Support lease execution and move-in coordination with operations
Treat short-term guests with hospitality-level service and awareness
Understand the difference between tenant mindset vs guest mindset
Communicate expectations, house rules, and standards clearly and calmly
Act as a problem-solver, not a messenger
Speak about Propolis with confidence, consistency, and authenticity
Uphold tone, values, and service standards in every interaction
Help prospects understand why Propolis is different, not just cheaper or available
Learn both long-term leasing operations and short-term hospitality standards
Adapt to new processes, tools, and expectations quickly
Take feedback well and apply it immediately
Grow into deeper responsibility as trust and skill increase
We are not hiring for resumes. We are hiring for mindset.
You should be:
Naturally communicative and emotionally intelligent
Comfortable speaking with different types of people
Organized, reliable, and detail-aware
Calm under pressure and able to pivot when things change
Curious, coachable, and eager to learn
Proud of your work and accountable for outcomes
Experience in leasing, hospitality, sales, or customer service is helpful, but not required.
Hourly rate: $17–$20/hour (based on fit, performance, and manager discretion)
Bonus: Per signed lease / conversion
