Trinity Residential is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join our on-site team. This role is ideal for an energetic sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about creating exceptional resident experiences.
As a Leasing Consultant, you are the first impression of the community. From the initial inquiry to move-in day, you will guide prospective residents through the leasing process while supporting occupancy, retention, and marketing goals.
The Leasing Consultant is responsible for engaging prospects, conducting community tours, closing leases, and supporting resident relations. This role plays a key part in maintaining high occupancy levels and ensuring Trinity Residential’s service standards are consistently delivered.
Greet, qualify, and engage prospective residents using established guest card procedures
Document all phone and in-person traffic accurately
Conduct property tours and effectively present apartment features and community amenities
Secure deposits and complete leasing paperwork in compliance with Fair Housing laws
Maintain and update guest cards and prospect follow-up systems
Inspect model units for readiness and communicate service needs promptly
Support lease renewals and track monthly commission records
Respond to resident inquiries and ensure timely follow-up
Address and monitor maintenance service requests to ensure satisfactory resolution
Participate in outreach marketing efforts and resident referral programs
Place and maintain marketing signage and distribute promotional materials
Conduct market surveys and monitor competitor activity
Support management with administrative duties and policy implementation
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or degree preferred.
Experience:
1+ year of experience in leasing, hospitality, sales, or customer service preferred.
Technical & Professional Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with property management software such as Yardi, Entrata, or RealPage
Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and leasing best practices
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a customer-focused environment

Communication – Communicates clearly and professionally with residents, prospects, and team members.
Team Collaboration – Works cooperatively with property staff to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.
Occasionally required to lift up to 25 pounds (marketing materials, packages). Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods, work on a computer, walk the community, climb stairs, and conduct regular unit inspections.
Professional leasing office within an on-site residential community. Frequent interaction with residents, prospects, and team members in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting.
